I am originally from Christchurch. My wife (Catherine) and I have two young children:
Alex and Dorothea (and no free time).
My other main projects are building a bach and writing a book.
Politically I am left of centre, with a
strong interest in protecting New Zealand's unique ecology.
My botanical interests include the cultivation of carnivorous plants,
and gardening in general. I have a particular interest
in the fabulous Kakapo.
