Non-orientable manifolds of periodic orbits

Abstract

This paper describes the adaptation of an algorithm for computing two-dimensional stable and unstable manifolds of vector fields (Krauskopf & Osinga, CHAOS 9(3), 1999) to non-orientable global manifolds of a periodic orbit. Such manifolds arise when the corresponding Floquet multiplier of the periodic orbit is negative.
