CULMS is a cross-faculty community within The University of Auckland bringing together all the mathematical science providers at the university.
The aim is to create a research-based Centre for tertiary education in the mathematical sciences, bringing best practice to the fore and supporting theoretical development and major research projects.
We are working towards developing a model of subject specific professional development for lecturers in response to contemporary demands for excellence in teaching and learning.
The goal is to establish CULMS as an international centre of excellence in tertiary level teaching, lecturer development and educational research in the mathematical sciences.
