FUTURE WORKSHOP AND CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENTS

21st Cumberland Conference on Graph Theory, Combinatorics and Computing - Dedicated to Mike Plummer on the occasion of his 70th birthday,  Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A.

The 21st Cumberland Conference on Graph Theory, Combinatorics and Computing will take place at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A, on May 15-17, 2008.

The conference will be dedicated in honor of Mike Plummer on the occasion of his 70th birthday; topics include topological graph theory, colorings, and matchings. There will be special sessions on Hadwiger's conjecture and on matchings, factors and factorizations. However, talks from any area related to graph theory, combinatorics and computing are welcome.

Permutation Patterns 2008 - The 6th international conference on Permutation Patterns, University of Otago, New Zealand.

The 6th international conference on Permutation Patterns will take place at the University of Otago 16-20 June 2008.

The conference themes include (but are not limited to) enumeration questions, excluded pattern questions, study of the involvement order, algorithms for computing with permutation patterns, applications and generalisations of permutation patterns, and others.

Building Bridges, Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics, Budapest, Hungary, and Fete of Combinatorics and Computer Science, Keszthely, Lake Balaton, Hungary.

Building Bridges will take place at Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics, Budapest, Hungary, 5-9 August 2008, In honour of Laci Lovász.
Laci Lovász turns sixty in 2008. To celebrate his enormous contribution to Discrete Mathematics and Algorithm theory, in general and connecting Combinatorics and Computer Science in particular, with various other fields of Mathematics, The János Bolyai Mathematical Society, the Eötvös Lóránd University and the Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics organize an international conference entitled Building Bridges between August 5th, 2008 and August 9th, 2008. It will be held at the Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics, Budapest, Hungary. There will be only invited talks. The Program Committee has put together a list of outstanding mathematicians and computer scientists with the aim to create a scientific program (almost) on a par with Laci's research achievements.

Preliminary announcement for 4ICC (4th International Conference on Combinatorial Mathematics and Combinatorial Computing) 15-19 December 2008 (summer) .

The ICC is held every 10 years. This year it includes the annual ACCMCC meeting of the Combinatorial Society of Australasia, and the New Zealand leg of the map conferences held annually in Slovenia/Slovakia/Arizona-Portugal/New Zealand.

CATS 2009 --- Computing: The Australasian Theory Symposium , Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

The 15th CATS symposium will be held at the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, during January 20-23, 2009. CATS is one of the two premier annual conferences in theoretical computer science in the Asia-Pacific.

The Journal is now published three times per year, in February, June and October.   CMSA Members are entitled to a $10 discount per volume.

There is a search facility for past authors and for keywords in the titles of papers.  Instructions to authors are also available at this web site.

The contents of all volumes, 1 to 40, are listed at the above web page.
We also now have free public access to the full papers in Volumes 1 to 29 inclusive.   All but the last four years are available free.

Submissions to the Australas. J. Combin. may be sent to ajc at maths.uq.edu.au.  Electronic submissions are encouraged.  For paper submissions, please check the web page.
