The importance of being Hilbert Schmidt

This lecture series will introduce and discuss Hilbert Schmidt operators and their importance for second quantization. The series will be accessible to anyone with a first course in analysis under their belt, and preferably also some knowledge of functional analysis.

Morning tea will be served in the Mathematics Common Room (303.258) at 11am each day.
