Announcements: Welcome to the homepage for Maths 260. Material relevant to this course (e.g., lecture handouts, assignment sheets) will be posted on this page as the semester progresses - just follow the links on the left. The course guide contains a lot of useful and important information about the course. Please read it carefully. The course will be taught in 3 hours of lectures and one tutorial per week. The lectures will be at 11:00 - 12:00 Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. On Monday there will be a tutorial class, starting from Week 2. This textbook is Differential Equations, by P. Blanchard, R. Devaney and G. Hall (First,second or third edition), and the course makes extensive use of the book. It costs about $145 new, after student discount. There may also be second hand copies of the text available. It is also on short loan in the library.
