| The classical unitals are the natural geometries of the ternary unitary groups. We discuss how we can recognize the classical unitals in any pappian projective plane and thereby extend classical results of Lefevre-Perscy, Faina and Korchmaros, and Korchmaros, Siciliano and Szonyi. |
