Abstract
Cubature rules are used in numerical analysis to find the integral of a function on sphere by averaging it over a certain set of points. A spherical design is defined as a finite set of points which satisfies a cubature rule for a unitarily invariant space of polynomials. In this talk, we review some techniques to construct  these sets.
