Computer pictures have been playing a very important role in the study of complex dynamics. However, this simple method is applicable only when the space (phase space or parameter space) is complex one-dimensional. So we need to take slices to visualize higher dimensional space. In this talk, we briefly explain basic results on complex dynamics in one variable by pictures and then we would like to discuss recent attempts to visualize and manipulate invariant sets and bifurcation loci in a complex two-dimensional space in virtual space in order to investigate with recent virtual reality devices. |
