Abstract
Key exchange protocols from isogeny graphs have recently attracted the attention of the cryptographic community, thanks to their resistance to attacks by quantum computers, and to their small key sizes. This talk will review the foundations of isogeny-based cryptography, and will focus on a key exchange protocol of Couveignes, Rostovtsev and Stolbunov. We will explain how to improve its performance, and why it is interesting to switch from ordinary to supersingular isogeny graphs.
