| A recent work on conceptual climate model shows a limit cycle reminiscing a glacial/ interglacial cycles. The model is a non-smooth switched system based on an energy balance of the Earth’s global temperature, ice albedo feedback and the mass balance principle. What was the origin of this this limit cycle? Could it be something internal to the climate system? In this talk, numerical results of the model will be presented, showing a birth of the limit cycle. |
