| This session will examine the practical issues and theoretical rationales involved in the use of pen-enabled Tablet PCs in tertiary education environments, with a particular focus on mathematically based STEM disciplines. It will discuss how pen-enabled devices bring handwritten modalities, that are fundamental to developing understanding, into a digital environment. The session will explore how the devices can be used in traditional (lecture based) teaching approaches, and how they can facilitate adoption of effective flipped classroom approaches. All welcome! |
