Welcome to the homepage of Niels Bernhardt

I received my diploma (Msc.) in physics at the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2004. Currently I am a PhD student of Rod Gover and Paul-Andi Nagy at the University of Auckland and member of the research group Geometry and Analysis.

Research interests:

At the moment I am mainly interested in spin geomety. In particular generalised torsions of spin connections, parallel spinors and the implications on special geometries. In general I am interested in all aspects of differential geometry and mathematical physics, in particular string theory and relativity.
