Mathematics Olympiad
The Mathematics Olympiad is an annual Mathematics competition for high school students.
A six student team is sent by each nation. In the lead up to the selection of each year's New Zealand's team, the New Zealand Mathematical Olympiad Committee (NZMOC) organises a graduated programme of competitions, camps and coaching for mathematically talented high school students. The NZMOC's Auckland activities, including the Auckland Mathematics Olympiad, are run by staff and students of the Department of Mathematics.
