Help with maths
The Department of Mathematics provides the following help:
Tuākana library
There are text books for most Maths courses available through the Tuākana Mathematics Programme. Talk to Ru Nicholson in room 371, Building 303S if you wish to borrow a book.
Mathematics assistance room
Drop in for one to one assistance.
Where: SciSpace, Ground Floor, Science Centre, Building 303
When: Monday to Friday, 10am-4pm during semester weeks. (Reduced times during the semester and study breaks).

One to one tutoring
Tutors are available at certain hours for one to one tuition. You have to book a time with one of them on the booking sheet which is on the desk of the Student Resrouce Centre, in SciSpace.
Your lecturer has office hours which should be posted on their doors on on their webpage. They are available for one to one help during these times and their priority is to help students.
Tuākana tutorials
The Tuākana Mathematics Team runs tutorials for all mathematics papers.
Where: The new Tuākana rooms, B15 & B13, in the basement of the Science Centre Building 303 (unless stated otherwise)
When: See the timetable below.
Rooms B13 and B15, on the basement of the Science Centre, Building 303, are available to Māori and Pasifika science students. The rooms provides a place to study alone, or with other Mathematics students and get help from your tutors.
