TIME 2000-An International Conference on Technology In Mathematics Education

Preliminary Announcement

TIME 2000 - An International Conference on Technology In Maths Education will focus upon the uses of information technology in, but not limited to, the following areas:

• teaching
• assessment
• distance education
• research
• learning
• problem solving

This conference will serve as a forum to discuss, present, explore and exchange information in mathematics education using:

• paper presentations (refereed and non-refereed)
• hands-on workshop sessions
• panel/group discussions
• special interest networking sessions
• displays of books, materials and technologies

Sessions will cover a broad range of topics, both theoretical and practical, relevant to educators at all levels. There will be refereed proceedings of the conference
